SUMMARY:Accessible Art Pilot Program
DESCRIPTION:This event is open to all York South Family Network members. \n\n\n\nWe will provide a variety of assistive art devices that everyone is welcome to try. These tools are designed for individuals with limited hand strength or fine-motor mobility who may benefit from adapted art supports. \n\n\n\nTogether\, we’ll explore drawing\, colouring\, and painting using materials such as watercolour\, jelly gouache\, and pencil crayons. Participants will be supported by 3D-printed assistive devices to promote inclusion\, creativity\, and independence in art-making. \n\n\n\nThere is no cost to attend. Participant feedback on the assistive devices will be greatly appreciated and will help inform future accessible art programming. \n\n\n\nWe’re especially excited to see how new tools designed by @MakeGood\, along with ImaginAble Solutions and their Guided Hands tools\, can support participants to become more independent and explore a wide range of artistic expression. \n\n\n\nEvent Details📅 Saturday\, February 21\, 2026🕐 1:15–3:00 PM📍 Oak Ridges Library – Room 234 Regatta AvenueRichmond Hill\, ON L4E 4R1 \n\n\n\nWe look forward to welcoming you for a fun\, inclusive\, and creative afternoon. \n\n\n\nVolunteers NeededWe are also recruiting volunteers to help ensure participants have the support they need.
